4 Vintage MCM Hand Printed by Lamar Geometric Barkcloth Textile Panels 113x47

Description

Fabulous, vintage textile panels in excellent condition with only a few minor issues. These panels are roughly 113 inches long by 47 inches wide and the print design is roughly 77½ inches long by 33½ inches wide. The fabric is a heavily textured barkcloth type of fabric and all 4 panels weigh just under 7 pounds. All of them are quite sturdy and show no signs of dry rot anywhere. There is lettering along the selvage that reads "Electra An Exclusive Hand Print by Lamar". The following issues are present on these panels: small, faint, age spots some light discoloration present near some of the gold colored print one panel has a one inch tear near the top edge and another 1 inch tear near the bottom edge (looks like easy to do repairs) one panel has a small, nickel size, blue spot near the bottom edge with a small tear inside of the spot all 4 panels show signs of dirt with one panel being a bit dirtier than the others Overall, the printed design colors are all very strong with no apparent fading. These would be good for textured wall art or perhaps floor length curtain panels as they are quite long. I would suggest consulting a professional textile cleaner before attempting to clean these panels yourself. The panels will be shipped to you as a roll of fabric and not folded. It is safe to steam iron these panels if there are any wrinkles in them at the time of delivery.
