Charming 1930s French Walt Disney–authorized postcard featuring characters drawn in the unmistakable likeness of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in a sweet romantic “flowers for you” scene. This card was published in France and is fully marked on the back: “Éditions M. L. Paris – Par Autorisation: Walt Disney – Mickey Mouse S.A.” This confirms it as an authentic, licensed European Disney postcard — and an increasingly scarce one. 🎨 Front Image Details Mickey-style character, wearing classic red shorts , yellow gloves, and big shoes, presents a bouquet of roses with a gentlemanly flourish of his lavender top hat. Minnie-style character, in a blue skirt and yellow gloves , reacts joyfully and bashfully at her doorway. Soft pastel brickwork, charming street details, and the expressive faces give this card that distinct 1930s French Disney aesthetic. Caption reads: “Quelques fleurs pour vous, Madame !…” (“Some flowers for you, Madame!”) This artwork belongs to the beloved era of early European Disney licensing, where French illustrators rendered Mickey and Minnie in slightly stylized forms while keeping their unmistakable likeness. 📬 Back Details Postmarked Paris – Gare du Nord – 12 August 1935 .
