You are buying a cotton bale cash receipt. Heavy use wear and tears and aging. Paper is brittle from age. Bends and tears from storage. See photos enlarged for details as they are part of the description. Due to the brittle nature of these items, they will be shipped folded as they were stored. These vary in age but are around 90 years old. I believe that these were sold from farmer: Rommie Ellis “Bud” Mills Sr. ( 14 December 1886 – 18 March 1965) to company: Farmers Gin Comp. I am not sure where Farmers Gin Comp . was located. This was hand written on a scrap piece of notebook paper found with all this other receipts. They were stored a bit rolled, bent, and waded up for about a century.
