Description
This is a box of Crane's Fine Papers blank occasional cards with a playing card theme. The cards are antique and manufactured prior to 1922 when the company incorporated and became Crane & Co.. The cards are embossed and gold foiled with tissue paper between each card. There are 13 blank cards and envelopes, the original "Crane's" paper band that held the cards together, the paper company advertising insert, and the original box with handwritten title. Cards & envelopes are in like new condition with only the top card having some wear. The paper band has been torn and has yellowed tape attached. Box has a lot of wear. My item arrived in excellent condition - even better than expected! It's in pristine condition for its age and I'm thrilled with it. Shipping did take a little longer than expected, but that's totally on US customs, not the seller. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering internationally. Item was shipped very fast and packaged with extreme care to ensure a safe delivery. It came even better than described looking almost brand new. I got a sweet deal on it as well.
